1.Auckland, New Zealand: The "International Sailing Capital" based on the event

Sailing is both a competitive and recreational water sport, and there is nothing like a big, exciting race to raise its profile in a particular region!

Take the waterfront city of Auckland, the "International Sailing Capital", for example, as the site of the America's Cup, Olympic Games, World Championships, and other prestigious sailing events.

As the venue of America's Cup, Olympic Games, World Championships, and other famous sailing events, the hosting of many high-level international sailing events has greatly enhanced the global reputation of the sailing capital, which in turn has promoted the development of local real estate and leisure tourism in Auckland.

In terms of events alone, in addition to the periodic top-level international sailing events mentioned above, Oakland also hosts national or regional events - look at the packed schedule of events over the next few months in 2020.

The races will undoubtedly create a huge diversion while raising awareness and gathering the popularity of the host place.

In Auckland, countless numbers of water sports enthusiasts come to visit and experience sailing and other water sports every year. Therefore, a mature and well-developed "sailing + tourism" industry chain has been formed in the area: using the star race as the brand IP, developing "race tours", and deriving from the sail dinner, island adventure, and other exciting activities.

Please note that these activities can be very expensive, any single person charge is 1000RMB up and down!

2. Barcolana, Italy: The 500 million dollar economy from sailing

The town of Barcelona, located in the Gulf of Trieste, Italy, hosts one of the world's most famous regattas, the Barcolana Autumn Cup Regatta, on the second Sunday of October every year, thanks to its powerful natural environment.

Barcelona has founded in 1969 and in its first regatta, only 51 sailing boats took part in the race. Year after year, Barcolana has become more and more popular, attracting international crews and world-renowned sailors.
